✅ Eligibility
Educational Qualification:
- Assistant Commissioner: Master’s Degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University along with a valid B.Ed. from an NCTE-approved institution.
- Principal: Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized University. Must hold a B.Ed. degree with 50% marks or a three-year integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institute.
- Vice Principal: Master’s Degree with 50% marks from a recognized University. A B.Ed. or a three-year integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. with minimum 50% marks is required.
- Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs): Integrated PG Degree from an NCTE-recognized University with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject (including the B.Ed. component) OR a regular Master’s Degree with 50% marks in the concerned subject plus a B.Ed. with minimum 50% marks.
- Primary Teachers (PRTs): Senior Secondary (10+2) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Board. A Bachelor’s Degree in Music/Performing Arts is required, provided the subject was studied throughout the course.

🔍 Selection Process
- Candidates shortlisted for the final stage (Interview / Document Verification) must present a valid medical fitness certificate issued by an authorized medical professional. This document should clearly confirm that the applicant meets the physical and functional standards required for the specific post.
- If a candidate fails to submit the required medical certificate, his/her candidature may be rejected, regardless of meeting other eligibility conditions.
- Post-wise essential qualifications, desirable criteria, pay levels, age norms, age relaxations, and selection modes are detailed in the official notification. Selected candidates in NVS will also receive admissible allowances, including a 10% residential duty allowance. (Note: This 10% allowance does not apply to the post of Assistant Commissioner – Academics.)
- For specific posts, the recruitment will consist of a Two-Tier Examination followed by an Interview. The final merit list will be prepared by assigning 85% weightage to Tier-II marks and 15% weightage to Interview marks. The Interview itself will carry 100 marks.
