📝 PSSSB Group D Exam Pattern 2026

The PSSSB Group D written examination will be conducted in MCQ format using OMR sheets. The examination consists of Part A and Part B. Candidates must qualify Part A before Part B is evaluated.

  • The examination will be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) format.
  • OMR sheets will be used for answering the questions.
  • The total examination duration is 2 hours 30 minutes.
  • The written examination consists of Part A and Part B.
  • Part A is a Punjabi Language qualifying test equivalent to the Matriculation standard.
  • Part A carries 50 questions and 50 marks.
  • Candidates must score at least 25 marks (50%) in Part A.
  • Part B will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A.
  • There is no negative marking in Part A.
  • Part B carries 100 questions and 100 marks.
  • There is 1/4 mark negative marking for every wrong answer in Part B.

The PSSSB Group D written examination includes Punjabi in Part A and six subjects in Part B: General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Punjab History and Culture, Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability, Punjabi, English and ICT.
