🎯 Selection Process
The selection process is different for the Driver and Frash posts. Meeting the eligibility conditions does not automatically guarantee a call for the next stage.
- Driver: Selection is based on performance in a Practical Test-cum-Interview. The High Court may apply suitable shortlisting criteria before allowing candidates to appear.
- Frash: Candidates are first assessed through an Interview of 50 marks, comprising 25 marks for Suitability to the Job and 25 marks for Etiquette/Manners.
- Frash PET: Candidates equivalent to four times the advertised vacancies, category-wise and in order of interview merit, are called for a qualifying Physical Endurance Test.
- The Frash PET consists of an 800-metre race, long jump and high jump. Failure in any one event disqualifies the candidate from proceeding to the next event.
- The final provisional selection list for Frash is prepared from candidates who qualify the PET, strictly according to their interview merit and the number of advertised vacancies.
- For either post, selection does not by itself confer a right to appointment. Candidates proposed for appointment are subject to the conditions specified in the respective notification.
