✅ Eligibility Criteria

Local Language Requirement
The applicant must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking the local language specified for the selected state. Candidates who have not studied the required local language as a subject in Class 10 or Class 12 will generally have to qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT).
Nationality / Citizenship
The recruitment is open to eligible Indian citizens and other categories specifically recognized under the notification, including eligible subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, certain Tibetan refugees and persons of Indian origin who satisfy the prescribed conditions. 🎯 Selection Process

There is a negative marking provision under which one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question is deducted for each incorrect answer. The Bank has prescribed minimum qualifying marks of 40% for General/EWS candidates and 35% for reserved category candidates in each section, subject to the provisions of the official notification.
Salary and Service Conditions
Selected Local Bank Officers will be placed in JMGS-I with the pay scale of ₹48,480-2,000/7-₹62,480-2,340/2-₹67,160-2,680/7-₹85,920. In addition to basic pay, eligible officers will receive applicable allowances and benefits such as DA, CCA, HRA/leased accommodation, leave fare concession, medical insurance, retirement benefits and other benefits according to PNB rules.
