• Collecting used cups, plates and utensils from the canteen and rooms.

Age Relaxation

The date of birth mentioned in the Matriculation, SSC or equivalent certificate will be accepted as proof of age. Category-wise age relaxation will be available only to candidates who fulfil the prescribed conditions.

Selected candidates will receive salary according to Pay Level 1 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, along with applicable allowances and benefits as per Government of India rules.

In case of a tie, the prescribed tie-breaking conditions will be applied for determining the order of merit and eligibility for the written examination.

📝 Income Tax Canteen Attendant Exam Pattern 2026

The written examination is an objective-type test based on matriculation-level questions. It contains 40 questions carrying 40 marks.

Skill Test

Up to 70 candidates, equivalent to 10 eligible candidates against each vacancy, will be shortlisted for the Skill Test. The Skill Test will carry 60 marks and will be conducted at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

The skill assessment may include practical proficiency related to beverage preparation, basic food handling, preparation techniques, presentation, hygiene and cleanliness.

Final Merit

The final merit will be prepared on the basis of the combined performance in the written examination and Skill Test for a total of 100 marks. Seven candidates will be selected according to the available category-wise vacancies.
