The vacancies consist of 1300 new vacancies and 1182 unfilled vacancies carried forward from previous LBO recruitment exercises. *For Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland, English is accepted as the local language only for candidates who have studied and passed English as a subject from a school located in the respective state. The notification also provides PwBD reservation details, including 42 posts for Locomotor Disability, 37 for Hearing Impaired, 26 for Visually Impaired and 25 for the specified PwBD category. The Bank may modify the number of vacancies depending on its requirements.

🎯 Selection Process
The BOB Local Bank Officer selection process includes an online examination followed by further assessment stages as decided by the Bank. The selection stages mentioned in the recruitment information are:
- Online Test
- Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI)
- Psychometric Test and/or any other assessment considered suitable by the Bank
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT), where applicable
The tentative online test consists of 120 questions carrying 120 marks with a total duration of 120 minutes. The English Language section is qualifying in nature and its marks will not be counted towards the final merit list. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

The minimum qualifying marks for GD/PI are 60% for General category candidates and 55% for Reserved category candidates. Candidates must qualify in the Local Language Proficiency Test unless they have studied the relevant local language at the 10th or 12th standard level.
