AAI has announced 389 vacancies under 15 post codes. The vacancies include 11 Manager disciplines and 4 Junior Executive disciplines. The vacancy figures are tentative and may be increased or decreased at the discretion of AAI.

Eligibility varies significantly by post. Manager positions generally require the relevant professional qualification along with three years of post-qualification experience, while the listed Junior Executive positions do not require work experience.

For Manager posts, the required work experience must meet the conditions specified in the official AAI notification. Experience from eligible Central/State Government bodies, PSUs or qualifying private organizations/institutions is considered as prescribed by AAI.

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: 3 years
• PwBD candidates: 10 years for identified suitable posts
• Ex-servicemen and eligible Commissioned Officers: 5 years
• Eligible regular AAI employees who have completed probation: 10 years

The date of birth mentioned in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination certificate will be accepted for determining age.

The application fee is non-refundable. Candidates applying for multiple posts must follow the separate registration and fee payment requirements mentioned in the notification.

🎯 AAI Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process depends on the post code. The recruitment process generally begins with a Computer Based Test, followed by application verification or other applicable tests. Manager posts under Post Codes 1 to 11 also include an interview.

• Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Application Verification / Subsequent Tests, wherever applicable
• Interview for Manager posts under Post Codes 1 to 11
• For Manager (Fire Services): Physical Measurement Test, Driving Test and Physical Endurance Test

The CBT is objective in nature and there is no negative marking for wrong answers. Shortlisting for subsequent stages is based on performance in the preceding stage. Colour blindness and night blindness are rejection criteria for most posts, except the specified Finance posts mentioned in the official notification.
