✅ Eligibility Criteria
To avail the benefits of the Punjab Smart Ration Card, applicants must fulfill the official eligibility conditions set by the Punjab Government:
- Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of the State of Punjab.
- Income Limit: The total annual income of the family from all sources must be strictly less than Rs. 8,00,000.
- Employment Restriction: Families with any member working as a regular/permanent Government employee in any Department, Board, Corporation, Municipal Committee, Trust, or Institution (State or Central) are NOT eligible.
- Relaxation Note: Contractual, Work-Charged, Outsourced, and Daily Wage Employees working in government institutions CAN apply for this scheme.

- Aadhaar Card (Current/Updated) of the applicant.
- Latest Electricity Bill.
- Passport-size photographs of all family members registered in the application.
