✅ Eligibility
Educational Qualification:
- Applicants must have successfully completed their Matriculation (10th standard) or an equivalent qualification from any recognized educational board in India.
Age Limit:
- Applicants should be aged between 18 and 23 years as of the application closing date.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per BSF recruitment norms.
Physical Standards:
- Height: Male – 170 cm | Female – 157 cm
- Chest (Male only): 80 cm (unexpanded) and 85 cm (expanded) with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.
- Weight: Must be proportionate to the individual’s height and age as per prescribed medical standards.
Medical Fitness:
- The medical test will be carried out in accordance with the revised Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) health guidelines and BSF recruitment policies.
- Candidates must be free from any physical or mental condition that could hinder efficient performance of duty.
Vision Standards:
- Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 in both eyes without corrective lenses or spectacles.
